Jamie Willems Event Manager fo Global Surf Industriesr G.S.I., presented the “Surfboard Designers Tour 2009″. Other notables on the “Tour” were Steve Walden, Greg Webber, Richie Lovett and Thomas Myerhoffer is now famous for his unusual shaped surfboard that doubles up as a short-come-longboard (see illustration attached). This board has the ability of a short board, where the rear shape comes into play, coupled with the full frontal of a Malibu.This board has impressed those who have tried it and sales seem to reflect that. VOLCOM V CO-LOGICAL SERIES

Recycle Your old board Shorts For a Good Cause and these will be donated to the people in the disaster zones of Sumatra and Samoa. This will be done by the Volcom Surf Team travelling over there  and handing out the donated Board Shorts in the affected areas. Prizes are offered to people donating their Old Boardies by Volcom and Entries received through the Retail Shops participating will be picked at random on Feb 15th. The major prize winner will be V Co-Logically outfitted for one year by Volcom…Isn’t that great!
