TAJ WINS at SNAPPER ROCKS
In Queensland Australia, on Friday the 5th of March at Snapper Rocks, a young Australian surfer called Taj Burrow has won the Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast sponsored by Land Rover. He over came the pressure of South African Jordy Smith in a memorable contest in ripping two to three foot waves.

The year started off with a bang, bringing the best of the world together to arguably the best point breaks in the world and the worlds best surfers didn’t let the crowds down
Upon winning the event Taj is reported as saying “It’s unreal, I’m so happy right now, it’s the best feeling on Earth”
“To have my Parents and an entourage of best friends cheering me on in the final is so special”.
Taj has won in his two previous events that being Pipeline Dec, and back at Burleigh in Feb. Taj hopes to continue the momentumas he chases down his first ASP World Title
